Dr. Norma Guzman
My name is Dr. Norma Jean Guzman and I am board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics as well as a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. I graduated from Ponce School of Medicine and did my pediatric residence at H.U.R.R.A. (Hospital Universitario Ramon Ruiz Arnau), both located in my native home of Puerto Rico. Afterwards, I spent most of my professional life working in the United States and have experience in different pediatric settings while working/living in Florida, Oklahoma, Kentucky, and Tennessee. By 2003, I decided to move back to Florida to be closer to my family and also felt I was missing the warm weather. Once was settled, I opened a small practice in the nearby town of Groveland and after 13 wonderful years of serving my patients, I have decided that it is much more fun and rewarding to simply practice pediatric medicine without having the onerous task of managing a medical office. In August 2017, I joined the A Plus Pediatrics/South Lake Pediatrics family. Although mypractice is now closed, I still truly miss my patients and their families, but it is time to start a new chapter of my life.
